Gotta Love Good Beer
Once a month my husband and seven of his buddies get up before dawn on a Saturday morning and spend the day brewing beer. It’s quite the production. Each guy picks a different kind of brew (my husband is partial to India Pale Ales (IPA)) and after they’re all bottled and ready to go they swap.
Every month he comes home with two or three mixed cases of really good beer that is fresh and never leaves me feeling bloated (did you know that a lot of commercial beer uses CORN as adjuncts? Corn, folks … the stuff they use to fatten up cattle).
Anyway, I came across this link on a great news start-up called Minn Post that I wanted to share with the other beer lovers out there: http://www.good.is/post/map-the-united-states-of-good-beer/. It celebrates good beer from across the United States.
The United States of GOOD Beer
Summit in Minnesota and New Glarus for our neighbors to the east.

More quibble: Although it is definitely the largest and best know, I didn’t think New Belgium was the best craft brewery...

Quibble: For Iowa, I’d go with Peace Tree Brewing Co., makers of the delicious Hop Wrangler and a wonderful rye porter.

Although this infographic is quibbleworthy, craft beer nerds should take note.
